​Who I Am and My Role

My name is Greg C. Johnson. I am Edda’s husband and primary caregiver. I also work professionally as an advisor in the areas of leadership, capital, and social enterprise. For nearly two decades, I have carried both caregiving and household responsibilities while continuing my work.

In this role, I:

• manage day-to-day care coordination and home environment
• communicate with physicians, nurses, and social workers
• monitor changes in Edda’s condition and behavior
• advocate for her safety, dignity, and comfort
• work to maintain my own health and stability so I can continue to care for her well

​What I’m Asking From Our Collaboration

I deeply respect the training and responsibilities each of you carries. What I’m asking for is:

• accurate and fair representation of my intentions and involvement
• clear, direct communication around significant changes or concerns
• space to share observations from home that may not be visible in brief visits
• a shared understanding that emotional intensity in the home does not equal lack of care or commitment

If concerns ever arise about my role or conduct, I welcome direct, documented communication so we can address them together.
