FORMEX Decision Intelligence
Understand the decision before deciding what to do about it.
Before you spend more money marketing, raising capital, changing distribution, building authority, entering a new market, or trying to reach more people, there may be a more important question:
Only after that environment is understood does FORMEX ask whether, where, and on what evidence you belong within it.
Before the next move
The problem you think you need to solve may not be the real problem.
You may think you need more customers. More visibility. More referrals. More distribution. More credibility. More investors. More capital.
Perhaps you do.
But acting on that assumption before understanding the Decision Environment can be expensive.
You can spend more money promoting an offer people do not clearly understand. Raise capital before knowing which opportunity the capital should support. Build more visibility without knowing which audience matters. Or pursue a distribution channel simply because that is how it has always been done.
FORMEX Decision Intelligence starts one step earlier.
It looks outside your organization, product, service, or professional profile to understand the decisions already taking shape around the problem you believe you can solve.
A different starting point
Your claims may tell FORMEX where to look. They do not determine what FORMEX finds.
Your representations help define the boundary of inquiry. They are not treated as evidence of the Decision Environment unless independently corroborated.
The FORMEX discipline
Four stages. One governing logic.
The methodology is intentionally simple on the surface and rigorous underneath.
Define where to look.
Your claims, materials and objectives establish the assessment boundary: the problem space, stakeholders, market, geography, use case and decision at issue.
Reconstruct the environment independently.
FORMEX examines stakeholders, decisions, pain, conversations, alternatives, trust requirements, evidence thresholds, friction, state of the art and unmet utility.
Reintroduce the subject.
Only after the Decision Environment is established does FORMEX compare your claims, evidence, capabilities and public record against it.
Determine what the evidence supports next.
FORMEX identifies what is supported, what remains uncertain, what evidence is missing and what deserves—or does not yet deserve—the next consequential yes.
The questions that come first
Before asking how to sell it, fund it, promote it, or expand it, understand the decision.
First — Understand the Decision Environment
- Who is already trying to solve the problem you claim to solve—whether or not they have ever heard of you?
- What are those people or organizations actually trying to accomplish?
- What questions are shaping their decisions?
- Where are those questions and conversations already occurring?
- What alternatives—including the status quo—are they considering?
- What evidence matters before they will act?
- What earns trust, and what prevents commitment?
- What does the current state of the art look like?
Then — Evaluate the Subject
- Does your current public record answer the questions that matter?
- Does the available evidence support your inclusion among the answers they should reasonably consider?
- Where do your claims correspond strongly with the environment—and where do they exceed the evidence?
- What is the most supportable next move?
Independent before persuasive
Demand for a solution does not automatically mean your solution deserves to satisfy it.
FORMEX does not begin by assuming that your offering is the answer.
It examines the Decision Environment independently and asks what the available evidence actually supports.
The goal is not to manufacture a case for what you already want to do. The goal is to make the next decision with better evidence.
Who it is for
Decision Intelligence is not limited to companies.
The subject can be an individual, an organization, a product, a service, an offering, an opportunity or a proposed strategic move. What matters is that someone, somewhere, is making a consequential decision in which that subject could reasonably matter.
Where does your authority belong?
For attorneys, advisers, executives, consultants, physicians, specialists, founders, subject-matter experts and other professionals whose experience or authority may be relevant to an important decision.
The question is not simply how to make you more visible. It is which decisions are already being made for which your experience could matter— and whether the evidence supports your inclusion.
Are you pursuing the right opportunity in the right way?
For businesses, professional firms, nonprofits and institutions considering growth, market entry, partnerships, referrals, distribution, positioning or capital.
Decision Intelligence can examine not only whether demand exists, but how relevant stakeholders currently reach a decision and whether a different route deserves consideration.
Does the evidence support your becoming an answer?
For products, technologies, platforms, professional services and other offerings that claim to solve a meaningful problem.
FORMEX first examines who is trying to solve the problem, what alternatives they consider and what evidence they require. Only then does it evaluate how well your offering corresponds to that independently established environment.
The engagement
Two distinct intelligence acts. One Decision Intelligence engagement.
FORMEX separates the independent environment from the later evaluation of the subject. That separation is deliberate.
FORMEX Decision Environment Intelligence Brief™
A standalone outside-in reconstruction of the environment in which the consequential decision is being made.

- Problems, pain, friction and desired outcomes
- Questions and conversations shaping the decision
- Alternatives and status quo
- Evidence requirements and trust thresholds
- Decision barriers and switching friction
- State of the art and emerging change
- Unmet utility, contradictions and evidence gaps
FORMEX Decision Intelligence Assessment™
Only after the Decision Environment is established is the subject reintroduced and evaluated against it.
- Where there is strong correspondence
- Where claims exceed evidence
- Where meaningful gaps exist
- Where unexpected opportunity may exist
- What the public record currently supports

- What evidence is missing
- What deserves the next commitment
More than a list of answers
You can ask AI the questions. That is not the same as underwriting the answers.
AI can generate ideas, possibilities, markets, audiences and strategies in seconds. That can be useful.
But an important decision requires more than a plausible answer.
FORMEX examines outside evidence, looks for agreement and contradiction across relevant sources, and distinguishes among observed evidence, reasoned inference, subject assertions, unverified assumptions and FORMEX conclusions.
It also actively searches for evidence that challenges the emerging narrative rather than asking AI to construct the strongest possible case for the subject.
The value is not simply asking better questions. The value is determining which answers the available evidence supports—and what those answers mean for the next move.
What the intelligence may reveal
The finding determines the intervention. Not the other way around.
Decision Intelligence is not designed to force every finding into another FORMEX service. The evidence may confirm your planned direction, refine it, or point somewhere you had not considered.
Different stakeholder
The strongest opportunity may exist with a different buyer, decision-maker, referral source, adviser, institution or market segment.
Different route
The evidence may support direct, referral, partner, institutional or hybrid distribution differently than expected.
Different priority
The opportunity may be real while the proof required to support the decision is incomplete, weak or difficult to find.
Different commitment
Instead of starting with the capital you think you need, the intelligence may clarify the opportunity the capital should actually support.
Where a consequential assumption cannot responsibly be resolved from existing evidence, FORMEX may recommend real-world validation or a structured Stress Test.
The larger FORMEX discipline
Being found is useful. Being understood is better.
Being independently supported—and ultimately suggested—is different.
FORMEX Decision Intelligence asks what decision is already forming before you attempt to place yourself inside it.
From there, FORMEX can determine whether the next need involves Presence Authority, Digital Market Proof, Offering Underwriting, Decision Readiness, Capital Architecture, a structured Stress Test, or another course of action.
FORMEX does not begin by prescribing the service. It begins by understanding the decision.
Before the next move
Before you spend more to be seen, sell, expand, raise capital or change direction—find out what the Decision Environment actually supports.
A FORMEX Decision Intelligence engagement can independently establish the environment first, then assess where you may—or may not—fit within it.
Greg AI is optional. You may request FORMEX Decision Intelligence directly without using the conversational experience.
